Notes, in your own words
A Zettelkasten beside the text: select a passage and the quote is captured, anchored to the exact paragraph. Stored on your own device for now.

Write notes straight into a folder Obsidian already watches, as plain markdown you own — with a link back to the passage that caused each one.
